National Caregiver Day – Unaiza Asad Ullah
Up to 6 million individuals across Canada provide some level of unpaid care to dependents who may be family members, friends, or neighbors. A caregiver is defined as someone who tends to the needs or concerns of a person with short- or long-term limitations due to illness, injury or disability. The responsibilities of a caregiver can vary from purchasing and organizing patient medications to helping patients get to a doctor's appointment.
